A Worship Service at CLC

First, As a visitor, our desire is that you be comfortable, not that you be put on the spot. If you would like more information about CLC or if you have prayer requests, you may fill out one of the Welcome cards in the seat rack in front of you. Once it is filled out, you may simply place it in the offering plate when it comes around during the service. After service, we do want to shake your hand, share a cookie or coffee and make sure you feel welcome.

The atmosphere at CLC is relaxed. You don't have to worry about "making a mistake" and there is no dress code. You will see men and women wearing jeans or shorts, business suits, and everything in between.

Children of all ages are always welcome in the services.

Worship service information and announcements (church bulletins) are available at both entrances to the sanctuary (where the service is held). If you have children, there are children's activity sheets by the worship folders. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

You can sit anywhere you feel comfortable. The service is projected on the screen up front, so you can easily follow what is happening.

When the offering plates are passed, you may give as you wish or not. It is up to you. Many church members give bi-weekly or monthly, so no one will notice whether you give or not. If you do want to give something, you may simply place your offering in the plate, or there are giving envelopes in the seat rack in front of you.

Our worship services include the Lord's Supper (Communion) every week. All baptized Christians who agree with the Apostle's Creed are welcome to participate. If you prefer not to, however, you may remain in your seat -- no one will think it odd.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask anyone you see, or to contact the church before you come the first time.
